The characteristics of steel

Sheet steel is renowned for its strength, durability over time and resistance to cold. Ideal for custom cutting, it can be used to create precise parts to meet the specific requirements of each project.

Steel sheets have the advantage of being less expensive than stainless steel or aluminium.

How thick are our steel sheets ?

To obtain a precise thickness and effect on steel, the plates are rolled:

  • A cold-rolled plate will make the steel very thin (from 0 to 3mm thick).
  • A hot-rolled plate will make the steel much thicker (over 3mm thick).

Following this, we offer a steel cutting service in various thicknesses. Our S355MC raw steel sheet varies between 2 and 20mm, S235JR galvanised rustproof sheet between 1 and 3mm, 5mm tread sheet steel and 1.5mm corten steel (rusted steel).
